Naomi Sommers is a singer-songwriter who grew up playing folk, jazz and bluegrass with her brother and parents in the Sommers-Rosenthal Family Band. She has recorded as a singer and multi-instrumentalist since childhood, and toured all over the US and Europe. Now rooted in Ithaca, Naomi spends her time teaching and performing music and songwriting (as well as studying to be a social worker). Come by soothed by Naomi’s lovely voice, and sing along with a variety of original compositions and vintage folk/country songs.

The choir takes its name from the Greek epic, The Odyssey, that recounts the many adventures of the king of Ithaca, Odysseus, on his voyage home.

SAV is a genre-fluid DJ invested in bridging the gap between South Asian, Middle-Eastern, and African sonics with Western sounds. She hopes to remind people that music and movement don’t exist outside of community and liberation.
